The Hersir Viking Sword was used extensively in Norway during the eighth to tenth centuries.  This sword features a deeply fullered blade and is light and well balanced.  It is a hand forged sword with a leather wrapped handle.  This sword is available in two versions.  Our regular version is made of EN45 steel and is ideal for display or costume use.  The fighting version is made of High Carbon Spring Steel making it durable and flexible ready for battle in LARP and SCA fighting.  This sword measures just over 37” in length with a 30” blade just over 2” wide.
